What Hipobuy says about itself
Hipobuy is a shopping agent for goods from Chinese marketplaces. On its About Us page Hipobuy gives 2019 as the year the Hipo purchasing platform began, says the business was rebuilt in 2024 as Hipobuy's global agency platform, claims customers in over 200 countries, and describes Hipobuy as only an intermediary between overseas consumers and Chinese e-commerce websites.
Those are Hipobuy's own claims, quoted as written; we have no independent figures for them. What can be checked is how the service works, which is what the rest of this site does.
You can read the site in eight languages and switch the displayed currency, yet everything is priced in Chinese yuan underneath, which is why this guide uses yuan throughout.
The five companies Hipobuy names as operators
Hipobuy's Contact Us page, its About Us page and the site footer list five companies as joint operators. We print them as listed, with only the town, because the pages do not say which company does what.

Hipobuy's iOS app lists Southern Times International Trade Limited as its seller, a company outside those five. We note it without drawing conclusions. For anything legal, read Hipobuy's own terms; this guide gives no legal advice.
The counterfeit clause in Hipobuy's terms
Hipobuy's Service Terms give counterfeits a section of their own, numbered 8 and titled HIPOBUY Anti-Counterfeiting Policy. Its plainest line is quoted below; the section goes on to list the consequences as loss of purchase privileges, funds withheld and disposal of inventory.
The purchase of counterfeit products is strictly prohibited.
The rule does not change with the order type. An agent order is bought under these terms, and a forwarded parcel is opened at the warehouse for a prohibited items check whose list includes counterfeit and pirated products. Hipobuy also says it does not verify that goods are genuine, so the duty to buy genuine goods sits with the buyer in both cases.
Why Hipobuy, and when a different agent fits
Start with what every agent does: buys from Chinese marketplaces for you, stores what arrives, and ships a parcel on a line you choose. What Hipobuy does differently is charge no agent service fee, put both order types on its homepage, and give 90 days of free storage from Warehoused.
The gaps count just as much. It offers no after-sales on forwarded goods, publishes purchasing hours (from 09:00 until 18:00, UTC+8) but no customer service hours, and checks no product for authenticity.
So when should you use someone else? When your plan needs any of those in writing. Other shopping agents you will also see run forwarding services with their own terms; compare those terms line by line. We do not rank agents and carry no scores.
How this guide is made and paid for
Why this site rather than another list of links? It is narrow on purpose: it keeps Hipobuy's two order types apart and dates every rule it quotes. Each Hipobuy page was read through the help centre's public interface on 16 October 2026, restated in our own words, and linked so you can read the original.
The site is independent of Hipobuy but not unpaid: registration links carry a referral code (9BCFEVFWG), and the site earns a referral when someone registers through them. That does not change what is written here, and no rating, score or ranking appears anywhere on the site.
Product cards point to category lists kept elsewhere; we do not sell anything and keep no stock. Corrections go to [email protected], and changes are logged on the notice log.
